Hi --

At our last Rock Creek outing Bill Butler told me he had seen and heard a
Raven perched on a light pole (or perhaps it was a cell antennae, I can't
recall) at Georgetown University maybe two weeks ago now. This is also right
near the Potomac which seems to be the best site for this species to turn up
in DC.

Last year we were in the woods at Rock Creek at Military Field and heard
what sounded like a Raven call once, but rushing out to the open area saw
nothing. Could have been one, or maybe a very hoarse dog at a distance <gr>
