Hi all,
1-2pm

Today I drove down to Blackwater to view the wonderful Hudsonian Godwits.  I want to thank Les for his detailed directions to find the birds.  There were 2 other eastern shore birders and they had the godwits in viewing.  The godwits were in the same company as previously reported, Dunlin, Black bellied Plover, SB Dowitchers, Laughing Gulls, and Ring billed Gulls.
Although I didn't bird the area thoroughly, (missed the White Pelican) here is my short list:

Sparrow Hawk 1
Bald Eagles 3
Turkey Vultures 7
Black Vultures 4
Green wing Teal 6
Mallards
Canada Geese
American Pipit (a small flock)
Red wing Blackbirds (a small flock)
Double crested Cormorants 9
Great Blue Herons
Great Egrets 2
