Just got back from Piney Run. Brandt the BRANT is fine and says he likes the
place. About the time it freezes over he might change his mind. He was
hanging with some MALLARDS near a gazebo (pronounced gaiz  bo with a long
'a' and a silent 'e'. Some people mispronounce it as a guzeebo with the long
'e'. Just thought I would correct that).

Plenty of COOTS around too, but I didn't stay long because it started to
rain and you know what happens when I get wet.

So since it stopped raining about the time I was coming to Morgan Run, I
stopped in for short walk there and the only highlight was a MERLIN that did
a rather speedy flyby. Plenty of sparrows around but if you want to know
what they were I'll have to coax Bonnie Ott into going over and checking
them out for us.

Anybody wondering what I was doing talking to Brandt? Me too.
