Hi, everyone.

 

We've had a slow October at Turkey Point, with many rain dates, so I am
optimistic that November will be better. There must be lots of buteos drying
out and getting ready to fly south, plus November is the time of year when
we see Golden Eagles pass through.

 

I have only a couple of dates when the Hawk Watch isn't staffed-tomorrow
(Nov 2) is one, and Wednesday Nov 18 the other. If you can take a morning to
observe for us, I'd be most grateful.

 

Please drop me an e-mail off list if you can and I will provide directions
if you need them.

 

I have some soggy juncos in my yard, finally!
