Afternoon all,
 Around lunchtime I was out on the deck and scoping the screech owl box in the red oak in the backyard, and noticed something inside. After waiting a bit, I noticed a birds head poking out, then eventually the bird popped out. Turned out to be a male Northern Flicker! He continued going in and out for a while. Also had a male Pileated in a dead cherry snag nearby.

Well, not exactly a screech owl, but better than starling!
