Made a brief foray to Sandy Point State Park on sunday afternoon. Arrived at the northeast parking lot about 1 pm to find 8 Brant grazing on the lawn between the lot and the beach. Lots of gulls loafing in the large puddle that has formed because of the rain, but nothing unusual. 3 Black-bellied Plovers were at the left end of the puddle up in the grassy stubble.
