I searched through the gulls at lunchtime today. There were good numbers, but I turned up nothing unusual. Totals were over 1,200 Laughing Gulls, 24 Herring Gulls, and 23 Ring-billed Gulls. This morning's walk had little out of the ordinary either. One female Bufflehead remains at the pond, as well as one Pied-billed Grebe. Also of interest were two flyover Tundra Swans high above and heading south.
