Hi all,

Jo Anna and I spent yesterday hiking and birding around Garrett and
Allegany Counties. We spent about 30 minutes at Dan's Rock overlook
where, in the first 10 minutes, we saw one juvenile GOLDEN EAGLE that
spiraled up due east of the platform at about 75 yards, then continued
south. We then headed to a very slow Finzel where the best bird was a
FOX SPARROW, quick checks of Piney Reservoir and Little Meadows held
nothing unusual. On the way back down state, we checked Rocky Gap
where our best bird was an OSPREY flying off with a trout, this is my
latest Western Maryland Osprey, other than that, Rocky Gap was slow.

Good Birding!
