MD Osprey:

I checked Schoolhouse Pond at Upper Marlboro today around 12:15 pm - 
no gulls at all.

Went to Depot Pond and found a flock of about 500-700 Laughing Gulls 
in good light which I got to scan about 12 times - no Franklin's.

Stan Arnold arrived and we checked Schoolhouse again - no gulls!

Checked the river at Jug Bay (PG side) - less than 100 gulls on the 
other side of the river. Lots of heat shimmer. Nothing that looked 
like a Franklin's.

Back to Depot Pond ... less than 50 Laughers.

Back to Schoolhouse ... no gulls.

On the way home, I checked the west side of Depot Pond (other side of 
the tracks) ... no gulls.

Sigh ...
