Morning all,
A quick walk around the yard, without the dog (he doesn't really like rain), produced 2 nice rather late finds. First was a nice Eastern Phoebe, present since at least last week, seen perched and tail-wagging in the front side yard, in a small red maple tree. Two trees to the right, in another small red maple was yesterdays yellow Palm Warbler, also tail wagging!
Other finds, as the rain began to increase; Blue Jays, Am. Crows harrassing a Cooper's Hawk, lots of Dark-eyed Juncos and a Red-bellied Woodpecker, as well as Cedar Waxwings and goldfinches.
Stay dry!
