I have done the editing and writeup of MD/DE results for the National
Audubon Society Annual Christmas Count issue for the past 8 years now. I'm
getting tired and need to find a replacement.

The work of the editor begins in February, reviewing the results posted for
the 31 Christmas Counts carried out in Maryland and Delaware. Once that is
done, all rare bird reports submitted, all questionable undocumented
sightings removed, etc., you will write up a summary of the season for our
two states. The summary is normally due in by late April.

All of the review process is now done online and the final review document
is submitted electronically to Geoff LeBaron of National Audubon. You're
allotted 20 words per count, so you have about 620 words for your overall
writeup. I say "about" because Geoff allows some flexibility.

There is a small stipend involved. If this all interests you, please get in
touch with me and we can talk!
