Hi everyone,

At 10:30 tonight, while riding the metro home, I noticed a bunch of black objects covering the parking lot of the Landover Metro station. Closer inspection revealed them to be crows. It wasn't a big group for crow roost standards, but there were probably anywhere from 500-1000 crows congregated on the parking lot, mostly sticking to the circles of light given off by the lamps.

It was a rare window into part of these amazing birds' lives that I don't often get to see. Sometimes I lose sight of the fact that birds don't cease to exist when I stop birding.
