This morning at 7:51AM as I was pulling on to I-95 south from the access ramp off of 22 westbound in Aberdeen, three Sandhill Cranes flew low above the treetops from roughly east to west, directly in front of me across I-95. They weren't more than 200 ft. high and it was a bright, sunny morning, so I got an incredibly clear look at them as they coasted by. I didn't even need binoculars to see the red crowns. They were flying over the highway roughly 100 yards south of the end of the on ramp merge. I almost went off the road. The sad thing was, I had my camera on the seat next to me, but couldn't pull to the shoulder quickly enough to use it because cars were all around me. They were headed towards the Bel Air area if they continued in the same direction.
