I went up to Black Hills Regional Park this afternoon looking for ducks. I found:

20-25 Hooded Mergansers
200+ Bufflehead
 7 Canvasback (2 males, 5 females)
 2 Tundra Swans
100+ Mallards
 300+ Canada Geese
 40-50 Ruddies
 20+ Coots
 5 Pied Billed Grebes
 4 Black Ducks
 1 American Widgeon

The Tundra Swans, Hooded Mergansers and Widgeon were all in the Ten Mile Creek area. The Canvasbacks were in the alcove by the pull-off on Rt. 121

Other birds of interest: 1 great blue heron, a Brown Creeper working the tree above the feeders at the Visitor Center, and a Cooper's Hawk swooping about a foot over the parking lot before disappering into the woods!
