I spent this chilly morning scoping the Potomac for waterfowl within DC. Not too much to write home about but I was very happy to find the CACKLING GOOSE�still hangin around between the Memorial and 14th Street bridges. Hains Point was relatively quiet but quite a few Lesser Scaup�were visible. 2 Bufflehead, 1 Pied-billed Grebe�and two perched adult Bald Eagles�were also seen. The ponds at Constitution Gardens�held about 15 Ring-necked Ducks�with usual crew. Georgetown Reservoir was completely devoid of waterfowl. Today was fairly quiet but let's see what tomorrow blows in.....���
