Location: Blossom Point , Charles County, Maryland

Observation date: 12/18/09

Notes: Northern Harrier was a male. Blossom Point is a restricted military base, and not open to the public. Thanks to Jack Kaiser for providing access.

I was doing a bird census for count week for the Port Tobacco Christmas Bird Count since I can't get into the research laboratory on Sunday. With the snow coming this might not be useful to the count (if it gets postponed), but a great morning birding finally. If the count is cancelled at least there will be 49 count week species.
