Just had 5 or 6 bluebirds (at least four males) and 5 Robins about 50 feet away on the shrubs. One of the female bluebirds came over to the sliding glass door for a look and got caught between the partly opened screen door and the glass door. She got out alright, unharmed, long before I could help her or get the camera out.

A handsome male PURPLE FINCH joined the already colorful flock at our backyard feeder in northwest Baltimore (any time there are half a dozen male CARDINALS it's colorful). Nothing unusual otherwise, though more JUNCOS than usual. We'll keep looking.
