Hi All,

The weekend snow forced postponement of the Lower  Kent County CBC to 
this Wednesday 23 December (tomorrow). Some of our regular observers 
will be unable to count on a week day so this message goes out to any 
observers who might be able to fill in some gaps in count circle 
coverage on short notice.

A brief survey of a small portion of the circle yesterday afternoon 
produced large numbers of birds on the road shoulders including 55 
Savannah Sparrows, 14 meadowlarks, 5 pipits,  and 160 Horned Larks, plus 
single woodcock, Rusty Blackbird, catbird, and thrasher.

the drop of a hat so I can send you forms and maps via e-mail 
attachment. We will be gathering after the count at an excellent pizza 
restaurant in Chestertown for the countdown.
