Dear All

There was a 2nd winter Kumlien's Gull in the Tidal Basin DC gull roost this morning.  I wasn't able to get any pics as it flew off whilst I was fiddling with my camera.  It departed at about 7.15am in the direction of Hains Point.   I had a look at the golf course which was full of birds at the northern end - the usual Canada Goose/RB Gull/Mallard trifecta - but couldn't get into Hains Pt even though the gates were open.  The approach road was cordoned off because of a puddle...
