Hi all --

Barry and I found the Cackling Goose in DC today, it was with about 500
Canadas on the north end of the Hains Point golf course. Fortunately it was
among the closest geese to the road so we had good views.

Otherwise not too interesting -- Bald Eagle and Red-shouldered Hawk perched
at Hains, a Peregrine sitting on the 14th St. bridge, about 35 Lesser Scaup
but no Redhead. Hundreds of Ring-billed Gulls, a few Herring and Greater BB
but no sign of the Kumlien's seen yesterday by Gary Allport.
