We took advantage of the lovely weather and had a nice long walk at Patuxent Wildlife Refuge this afternoon. It felt good to be outside after the ugly weather and all the rush of Christmas.

Turkey Vulture
The highlight was watching one of the bald eagles snatch a ring-necked duck out of the water, drop it on the ice and come back to have dinner. I hope eveyone else enjoyed this nice day, too!
