Hi Everyone,

Frode Jacobsen received the following message while traveling and asked me to pass it on. It's in regard to the interesting yellow-legged gull that has been seen and photographed recently in Dorchester County. It was seen again on 12/27 on Bucktown Road.

Thanks,

Bill

Frode
I do not keep many addresses, so I'm sending you this sighting. A month or so ago , I and a few other men saw a yellow-legged,dark backed gull on Egypt Rd that we id'd as a breeding plumage LBBG. I saw it three times in a two week period. A lady later reported it as a possible Yellow-legged gull. I didn't think so. BUT today 12-27-09, I saw it again on Bucktown Rd., one mile north of Bucktown. It still had a white head, seem almost , if not, as large as herring gulls, back darker then herring gulls but maybe not as dark as LBBG, with bright yellow legs.
If you would know of any one in the area, please let them know.
There is also several hundred gulls on Indian Bone Rd.
