   An afternoon trip to Piney Run Park joined by Tom Miller. The lake is 95% frozen. Birds are crowded around the little open water. Massed geese make it difficult to see other birds. Best viewing from the picnic table off the Field Trail spur. 

WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE - 1 adult Greenland race standing on the opposite shore before disappearing in the horde.
