Red-shouldered Hawk, Tawes Gardens, Annapolis

Heard a Red-shouldered Hawk calling and saw it flying in Tawes Gardens (behind the State Office building) in Annapolis, this morning at 9 am. 

 

Also around town the last couple of days were 2 Juv. Double-crested Cormorants in one of the Eastport marinas and 6 Am. Coots loosely assocaiting with 12 Mallards in Spa Creek. Adult Coopers Hawk in Eastport neighborhood among the more usual yard birds. Only Gulls I saw were Ring-billed and Herring. 

 

There was also a Red Fox on the ice of College Creek yesterday evening.
