Hi everyone,

I spent most of the day checking for open water in Wicomico County.
The Nanticoke waterfront held a lot of waterfowl with most birds being
observed from Cedar Hill marina.

Canvasback -- 250
Redhead -- 2
Common Merganser -- 12 (viewed from Tyaskin)
Red-breasted Merganser -- 2

Schumaker Pond in Salisbury held a huge flock of 500+ Ring-necked
Ducks plus a single female Lesser Scaup.

The sandpits on Rt 50 west of Salisbury still held the Snow Goose
flock and I was able to locate two Ross' Geese.

Barron Creek Pond held a female Gadwall and three Pied-billed Grebes.

I ended the day on in the marshes north of Shorter's Wharf where four
Short-eared Owls were observed.
