Hi all taking the day off yesterday 1-27-10 I decided to look for waterfowl etc in Queen Annes County and Check Great oak pond up in Kent County. The Queen Annes County sites I checked held few birds. Great Oak pond up in Kent County had a huge flock of Snow Geese in the field and pond close to the road but I tried and failed to find any Ross's Goose in them. But in among the Snows were two Cackling Geese. Before and after Great Oak Pond I tried the Northern Queen Annes County Kibler Road and Roundtop road site for the Northern Shrike but could not locate it either time .
In the Snow Goose flock I recorded 4 neck collars

A4J2 adult female collared Aug 2009 Ellesmere Island Canada
RE46 adult female collared Aug 2008 Bylot Island
