The Longspur made his appearance again today, but this time he brought another along, as well as 2 SNOW BUNTINGS (although they didn't stay long)!!! The birds have moved even closer to the door today, half the time I can't even see the Longspurs because they're huddled up right against the house. The Horned Larks are keeping warm by huddling together in mass and by digging themselves holes in the snow to sit in with only their tails sticking out! I was also surprised to see a White-throated Sparrow out there today, considering there's hardly any brushy cover or trees around.
