Hi Everyone,
Carol and I birded Cherry Walk Rd near the town of Quantico in Wicomico County this afternoon (11 Feb 2010). While we didn't find any unexpected species, the variety was nice, and I finally added Wild Turkey to my year list. One member of the turkey flock was leucistic. I took some digiscopes that I'm glad to share, or you could just look at the photo at this site--a good match for the bird we saw:

Shaded areas on back roads down here are icy and very slippery in places; main roads are in good shape.
Our full eBird list follows.
Have fun,

Location: Cherry Walk Rd
Observation date: 2/11/10, 3:10-4:45 pm
Notes: Cherry Walk Rd is 8 miles long, but we stopped at mile 7 to help dig out a big pick up truck in a ditch; that used the rest of our daylight. Was hoping for Rusty Blackbird or American Tree Sparrow, but no luck there. WITU was a year bird.
