Birds back in the neighborhood

I was thrilled to welcome back my birds today.  The robins, goldfinches, juncos, carolina wrens, blue jay, and

chicadees all were enjoying the neighbor's Hemlock cones and poison ivy berries.  

 

Nothing truly exciting about seeing them except when they are not around for a long stretch.  I just realized the house sparrows have stayed away since I stopped putting out sunflower seeds and started planting native plants.
