Can I consider three American Robins my first-of-season spring birds when
there's still more than a foot of snow on the ground? Three of them just
flew in to take a drink from the bird bath, a first for our yard in
February.

 

We had escaped the grackle invasion last week during Stormzilla, but they're
here today.
