At the risk of beating this to death, there are three Maryland reports
of Tree Swallow for JANUARY of this year on eBird, all from the Eastern
Shore. One was on the Mont. Bird Club eastern shore trip on Jan. 15 at
Blackwater NWR, which was observed by the group. There seems to have
been a widespread movement over the weekend, however. I observed two at
Point Lookout, and 28 were reported at Ft. Smallwood in Sue Ricciardi's
Feb. 22 post here.

Good birding!
