Down at Anacostia Park today in Washington, DC I had very close views  
of a banded Peregrine Falcon.  Two bands on the left leg - the top  
black and the bottom green. The black band had "X 8" (I think it was  
an 8) and the green band had the number 7.  That is all I was able to  
make out on the bands.  Hope that helps.  I'd love to hear where this  
bird was banded and any history - I'm sure someone on the list can  
find the appropriate group that did this.
