The goose was gone when I checked at 2:30pm. The pond was down to about 25 Canada Geese and 15 or so Graylags. I didn't have much time, so I couldn't check it myself, but I would suggest checking Depot Ponds, especially the western half. That half usually holds a couple hundred geese. If it's not there, it could be anywhere, but it wouldn't hurt to check fields along the Patuxent (like Merkle), and the river itself.
