Hello everyone,

Yesterday I went to Elliott's Island and saw ten Blue-winged Teal, several
thousands of Canvasback ducks ( did not attempt to count, but large
numbers.), some Mute Swans, haven't seen them for a while, a Greater
Yellowlegs, several female Northern Harriers, a small number of Black
Ducks. Two beautiful Sika Deer, one looked pregnant and the other a young
looking face. They were separate sightings. Really good looks, they would
go just slightly off the road and stop and look at me, so I took my time and
watched them. Was hoping for Short-eared Owls, but it was in the middle of
the day so they weren't there. Came back home via Decoursey Bridge and saw
two adult and two immature Bald Eagles.

Saturday late afternoon I went on Shorters's Wharf road and in fifteen
minutes to a half hour saw two adult Bald Eagles, a Short-eared Owl, two
male Northern Harriers, and two Black Ducks. Had really good looks at all.

The above are just the highlights of the two outings.
