I saw the male painted bunting at 8:30 this morning Monday March 8 at my feeder along with blue jay, WB nuthatch, chicadees, towhees, tufted titmouse, hairy woodpecker (on suet pole), carolina wren, cowbirds, Am. Tree and several other types of sparrow.

With the snow gone, birders may come at their convenience but if coming in p.m. are advised to bring a cup of seed with millet since the squirrels empty the feeder by 10 am. Email or call 410-262-9381.
