I also tried my luck in Bowie this morning and just missed the 8:30
show but, encouraged by Dan Lebbin & his friends' success, and by
Dorothy Paugh, I stayed on and a few minutes before 10 AM was thrilled
to see the bird at the feeder. After a couple of minutes he flew down
in the brambles and I could not see him again.

Thanks very much to Dorothy for her generosity. Indeed there are even
chairs for the waiting birders.
