Good Morning,

I went to the Woodcock field at HM yesterday arriving about 7:15 PM. I  
heard the first "peent" at 7:31 PM. I observed 3 display flights and  
heard many more. I was able to observe and photograph one woodcock on  
the ground peenting, once inside the field area and several times just  
outside of it. I had hoped to observe some interaction on the ground  
but if anybody got lucky last night I didn't see it. The calling and  
displaying went on for a good while. I heard the last peent just after  
8 PM.
