I decided to experience the TUFTED DUCK and was delighted, as everyone else. Watched him up close, feeding, preening and just being the handsome duck he is. Afterwards, decided to see what Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge had in store. Best birds were a PINE WARBLER and some BROWN HEADED NUTHATCHES in some scrub pines along the main entrance rd. Also had my FOY BROWN THRASHER, near the private residence. (near the Visitor's Center). Still some CANVASBACKS and a good number of both SCAUP and BUFFLEHEAD and I could hear some TUNDRA SWANS in the distance. Just after leaving the refuge upon crossing the small bridge, I finally had my FOY OSPREY pair perched in a tree.
