Sadly, I have heard that bobwhite quail took a hit on the Shore this winter. 
Collared birds at Chino Farms in norther Queen Anne's County were lost.  We 
saw our covey of 5-7 quail in late December, but not after the larger storms 
in February.  Not a peep so far, but we are keeping fingers crossed.  I 
would be interested to hear if anyone else sees or hears them, especially on 
the mid-Shore..

Eastern bluebirds are still here, at least 1 couple.
