Official Counter: Sue Ricciardi
Observers: Bradley Cernohorsky, Hal Wierenga, Marty Miller
Weather:
Mostly cloudy with a few aprinkles; 47-52 degrees; good visibility; winds
from the southwest 6-8 mph, increasing in intensity and changing to the
west in the afternoon, 16-21 mph, gusting to 28 mph
Raptor Observations: Usually southwest winds are favorable, but a persistent
cloud cover that wouldn't yield to clearer skies south and west seemed to suppress the
flight.
Non-raptor Observations:
About 1500 scaup on the river, mostly Greater. A White-winged Scoter in
with the scaup.
