Eleven people participated in the Potomac Valley Audubon Society's bird walk at Fort Frederick this morning. Highlights included Wood Duck, Lesser Scaup, Bufflehead, and Red-breasted Merganser at Big Pool as well as Ring-necked Duck at Little Pool. In total forty-five species were observed at Big Pool and one (Ring-necked Duck) was added at Little Pool.
