The IOC (not that IOC, but the International Ornithological Congress) seems to be entertaining a favorable position on the split of Yellow-rumped Warbler into four separate species covering North America's two migratory subspecies "Myrtle" and "Audubon". They meet later this year (August, Brazil). That doesn't assure a split by the AOU, but I would guess that puts it on their radar.
Potential split-lifer for some, lifer to persue for others, and the rare re-lifer yet still for others (pre-1973).
Something to keep an eye out for (pun intended).
