I found one pine warbler and a couple of golden-crowned kinglets at the LBJ grove.  And as I left I noticed some black crowned night herons flying down to the water--3 adults with plumage and a juvenile.  Another 5 adults were in the trees.  They were to the left of the footbridge at the grove-end as you go into the grove.  Good closeup views.  Wish I had had a camera.
