While checking the bluebird boxes, I saw several palm warblers feeding on the ground, and heard my first yellow-throated warbler's tentative song.
Pine warblers singing, cabbage whites flying, toothwort in bloom.
The chipping sparrows, which have been back a couple of weeks, are now engaging in serious territorial disputes.
