Warren and Lisa Strobel and I birded Davidsonville Park this morning.  Not much of note, except scads of Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, nice numbers of early spring species, but nothing new for the season except a single BANK SWALLOW out over the baseball fields around 10:40 A.M.  Warren and I got a good look at the breast band as it flew by, and a little later I heard it giving it's distinctive raspy call over toward the park entrance. Also at least one Purple Martin was singing in the same general vicinity up in the air.
Trying to figure out when I will go chase the RUFF.
