I was sitting on my deck at about 6 PM reading the Sunday paper when all of a sudden something flew across the yard and crashed into the bird feeder and then fell to the ground.  It was a Sharpie who apparently had made an unsuccessful attempt at obtaining dinner (some House Finches).  He stood on the ground for several minutes and then flew off.  This all occurred about 10 feet from me, Cool!
