I saw this on SAT morning as i was heading N on US15.  Pretty much the exact location was in a field just N of the 140 overpass on the right or east side of 15.  The bird (not sure of sex) was observed as it flew over 15 and settled in the field.  Not sure how unusual this is for N FRED Co, but thought it was worth a mention...
