Since I birded there a week ago today, Susquehanna has had some new arrivals. BLUE GRAY GNATCATCHERS were evident, along with several NORTHERN PARULAS, as I walked one of the trails from the main parking area. A RUBY CROWNED KINGLET, one of my favorite songsters, tweeted his little heart out. At Rock Run, the NORTHERN ROUGH WINGED SWALLOWS have returned. Driving towards Lapidum, I was able to see 2 CASPIAN TERNS perched on an outcropping in the river. 2 more CASPIANS, were closer to the Lapidum pkg. lot.
