westerly winds beginning 10 am EST, 13-21 mph, gusting to 30 mph

Raptor Observations:
First good run of Sharp-shinned Hawks with Cooper's Hawks, Broad-winged
Hawks and American Kestrels also in the mix

Non-raptor Observations:  Two Glossy Ibis; a few Bank Swallows, first of the season

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
