Hi all

A quick stop at Sycamore Landing on the C&O Canal yesterday evening produced 2 Red-headed Woodpeckers and a pair of dueting Barred Owls. Other species included a single Bald Eagle over the Potomac, a Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Eastern Phoebe and a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher. It was surprisingly cold and windy. The waxing crescent moon was pretty though.
